I have realized finally that a lot of people on livejournal and fanfic are very young - teenagers and youger. I admire the fact that they are already writing and expressing such great ideas. Compared to them I am very OLD! Although I don't feel it.

I am a woman who spends a lot of time on my own and sleepless, which gives me the time to write. I have an interest in all things fantastical and faerie, witchy and weird, psychic and science fictional, Laurell K. Hamilton and Kim Harrison novels. Mostly because I have been psychic all my life, seeing and hearing spirit guides, earth bound spirits, etheric bodies, etc. So different is normal to me.

I have a degree in biology and chemistry. I've completed advanced degrees in spiritual healing and educating adults. I've also been a minister and counselor. I've combined all that and have done spiritual counseling, healing (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and psychic reading work with people for my whole adult life in one form or another, mostly while self-employed.

I made a name for myself in my world and have taught over a thousand spiritual healers my healing techniques. It was great - and I am so over it now. I think my heart and soul are tired. I know my mind and body are. No more people at death's door work for a while please. I got sad - all the time - when I got soul tired, and then I decided I didn't want to be that anymore. (That's why I get dark and twisty Meredith from Grey's so well).

I made the decision over the last year to change careers. I am in the process of selling everything so I can buy myself time to write. I want to write my stories since I have had a head full of them forever. I decided Feb. 1, 2007 to start out by writing and publishing my fanfic for Grey's Anatomy called Acts of Love on fanfiction.net just to see if I could. It turns out that I really love it. I also started my first novel. We'll see.

I love the romance of Grey's Anatomy - especially the Meredith and Derek relationship. I've been married to my own dream lover for twenty-five years. In the fan world, I love Grey's, of course. I also love Buffy and Roswell and Angel and Dark Angel and Threshold and Wonderfalls and Firefly. Of course they are all gone so I focus on Grey's.

I am not so good with the computer or technical stuff so I am very much a neophyte on the internet. Grrr!
