Review for Episode 3, Season 5
Like the premiere, this episode was okay, and it even had flashes of genius in it. (I've come to the conclusion that the first season was almost all genius and that's why it can't be replicated). I liked this episode over all.( Read more... )

I actually thought the premiere was okay. It wasn't over the top fantastic, like S1, but it was pushing the reset button across the board, for which I am heartily grateful. I'd finally been disappointed in GA last season to the point that I'd stopped watching. Now I feel like I can watch again. Which is a minor miracle for me since I love GA so much. 
I do have to confess right away that my husband and I LMAO over Rose making Derek pay for his sins. My dark and twisty mean side even liked seeing that ass get stabbed in surgery, his throne room. She hit him where it would most hurt in more ways than one. (Of course if she'd really hurt him, that would have been a different story).
